We are so happy you are thinking about volunteering with us! This volunteer position can be challenging and we want to make sure you know what you are signing up for.

We have some pretty high expectations when it comes to cleanliness in the Cat Den for the safety of our cats and guests and we deep clean daily. When volunteering with us, the daily tasks will include but are not limited too:

​

• Scooping, washing and/or drying litter boxes

• Vacuuming floors, chairs, wall furniture, beds

• Mopping floors and walls

• Washing/Refilling food bowls

• Deep cleaning water fountains

• Wiping down shelves, chairs, wall furniture

• Medicating cats and clipping nails (we can teach you!)

Please keep in mind that this is not just a free way to pet our cats. The cats rely on us (and potentially you!) to keep them safe and in a clean environment.

We do have some perks for our volunteers though which will include 50% off any drink and 15% off any merchandise purchase. *Please note: these perks can only be used during your shift or directly after.

Our available times to volunteer are 8am-11am Wednesday through Sunday, Out of consideration for our very small staff, we ask that you are able to commit to a minimum of 1-2 shifts biweekly.

All volunteers must be 16 years of age and older and have reliable transportation. After applying, someone on our staff will reach out to you to follow up with any further questions and/or schedule your orientation.
